The basic programme
One programme, one price, the hotel transfer included
The basic Turkish bath is the classic hamam in full: heat, kese, köpük and a massage with aromatic oil, and the drive there and back is part of it. It is substantially the same at every hamam location we work with.

How it works
From your hotel door and back again
Nine steps, roughly 2 to 3 hours away from your hotel, transfers included.

Your driver collects you from the hotel at the time we confirmed after booking.

The drive out to whichever hamam serves your hotel's area.

Check in and hear how the session works before it starts.

Begin with dry heat in the sauna, then the steam room, until you're warm right through.

The traditional Turkish body scrub, with a coarse kese mitt.

6. Foam
The foam wash and foam massage the Turkish bath is known for.

The included aromatic oil massage — about 20 minutes.

8. Relax
A pause to rest and cool off before the drive back.

Your return transfer drops you off at your hotel.

More than one hamam, one programme
Our guests stay all along this coast, with Okurcalar at one end and Mahmutlar at the other, so different transfer areas are served by different hamam locations, each running substantially the same basic programme. Your hamam location is selected according to your hotel and transfer area.

It depends on your hotel, the hamam location, the route and the day's schedule, so it is confirmed after you book — not before.

Once the programme ends, you're driven back to your hotel.
Practical
What to bring
You need very little for the hamam: it provides a towel, a peştemal wrap and slippers, so pack the rest light.
- Swimwear — you keep it on throughout
- Light, comfortable clothes for before and after
- Flip-flops or other comfortable footwear
- Your own towel, only if you prefer it to the hamam's
- A change of underwear
- A hairbrush or comb
- Your own toiletries, if you need them
- Water to drink
What to wear
Comfortable swimwear is all you need in the hamam, and you keep it on throughout. The hamam is warm and humid, so loose, lightweight clothes are the most practical choice for the journey there and back.
We don't list lockers or changing rooms as included. If a facility like that matters to you, ask us when you book.
