Hamam Massage Upgrades in Alanya

Every basic hamam booking comes with a massage already: after the kese and the foam, around 20 minutes of massage with aromatic oil. The upgrades on this page are for guests who want a different kind of massage — and none is added to your price unless you pick it.

Four optional massage upgrades can be added to the Alanya Turkish bath: sports, Thai, aromatherapy and chocolate massage. The basic programme (€23 per adult, hotel transfer included) comes with its own massage already — aromatic oil, roughly 20 minutes. Where an upgrade can be booked online, its price is shown as a separate line before you confirm; for any other, ask us on WhatsApp.

Basic programme or an upgrade?

If this is your first hamam, the basic programme is the whole experience: warmth from steam room and sauna, the kese scrub, köpük foam, a short massage with aromatic oil, and time to relax. Nothing about it is a cut-down version — "basic" only separates it from the upgrades.

An upgrade makes sense when you already know you'd like a particular kind of massage: firmer work on the muscles after an active week, stretching instead of oiled strokes, a scented-oil treatment of its own, or the chocolate massage for the sheer indulgence of it. How the four styles differ.

How an upgrade is booked and priced

  • Once an upgrade is bookable online, you choose it in the booking form, on the programme step; until then, ask us on WhatsApp.
  • Its price appears as its own line, on top of the basic programme — never folded into it.
  • Before adding one for a child, please ask us first.
  • A booking carries one programme. If only some of your group want an upgrade, make one booking for them and another on the basic programme.
  • Nothing is charged online: the upgrade is paid on the day, together with the rest of your booking.

The basic aromatic oil massage and the aromatherapy upgrade are not the same

The names are close, so it's worth saying plainly. In the basic programme you get a basic aromatic oil massage of about 20 minutes. Separate from it, and optional, is the aromatherapy massage: a treatment built around blends of scented oils, an upgrade with its own price, part of your booking only if you choose it.

Questions

Can one person in our group take an upgrade and the others not?
Yes, with two bookings: one booking carries one programme for everyone on it. Book those who want the upgrade on it, and the others on the basic programme.
Do massage upgrades apply to children?
Ask us before booking one for a child. The massage parts of the programme are meant for adults; for children aged 4 to 10, the hamam confirms the right programme.
When do I pay for an upgrade?
On the day, together with the rest of your booking. Nothing is charged online.
Can I add an upgrade after I've booked?
Message us with your booking reference and the upgrade you'd like, and we'll tell you whether it can be added for your day.
